Meditation means awareness. Meditation is a state of consciousness when your mind is free of scattered thoughts and patterns. It is not a technique but a way of life. The observer (one who is practicing meditation) realizes that all the activity of the mind is reduced to one.
Soothe Your Senses Day Spa is thrilled to present this Level 1 Meditation Class. This six-week class, led by Craston Artis II, our resident Naturopath, will progress in the following areas:
- Meditation Basics: posture, breathing techniques, and conscious breathing
- Body Sensing: Focusing on body parts, releasing tension, and fully relaxing the body
- Organ/organ systems healing: Focusing on organ systems to enhance function (i.e. slowing down blood pressure and healing the circulatory system, healing the kidneys and urinary system functions)
